A wonderful turquoise heart pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 800 purity silver and is quite substantial in size. A branch-like design covers the open heart, encrusted with Persian turquoise stones that rest in a pave setting. The natural turquoise stones have vibrant colors in saturated shades of blue and green, and look gorgeous within the silver setting! A complimentary turquoise bail is attached to the top, perfect for pairing with a favorite chain. Stamped on the back of the piece is "800 FB." Perfect for any turquoise lover, this artistic pendant would make a wonderful everyday accessory!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 2 1/8" long, including the bail at the top. The heart itself measures 1 5/8" tall, 1 1/2" wide, and a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or to any of the Persian turquoise stones, all of which are intact and securely set. The bail is securely attached and in good condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver that gives an antique appearance to the setting, which is normal for Victorian era jewelry and adds to its unique character.
